29-31st – Miri (Wedding)

Picture above was taken during my visit to Cambodia last year. It is indeed that time of the year again, husband and I will be traveling to Hong Kong for our annual vacation this year. I am not particularly excited about this one as I am not a fan of crowded city but I am excited about the food, thou. And I wasn’t involved with the planning at all…I simply tag along as a tourist, and he’ll be my tour guide. LOLZ.
I’ll be away from 9th -18th April, so I maybe slow at responding to your emails. Keep ‘em coming thou and I’ll reply as soon as I can.
After coming back from Taiwan, I am now looking forward to another trip, which is our annual vacation trip, to Hong Kong. More traveling means less editing time, therefore I am now trying my best to finish all the backlogs. (Currently still working on February backlogs…sigh !) I’ve gotta speed up or else I will be bringing along some extra “baggage” with me along. I am most grateful for the patience my clients have showered me however it is also my responsibility to deliver on time.

When we were in Taiwan, the weather was cold to the extend of unbearable. I was wearing layers of clothing and yet I could still feel the cold, while the bride had to endure the tough weather wearing nothing but a thin gown, no doubt, it was a tough, tough shoot. (And the rain wasn’t fun either) However, we powered through and made beautiful images together. I’ll share more of their set after their official ceremony in July. Meanwhile, I’ve posted some casual shoot of them on my [facebook page].
The MUA (Grace) and I extended our stay for 2 days, since I don’t like shopping and wasn’t sure what to do in Taipei, I just went to the Flora Expo alone based on my client’s recommendation. Now I didn’t expect to see much because I didn’t do any research on it, boy was I surprised ! It’s just so breath taking seeing so many flowers gather at one place…just magnificent. You can’t help but feeling light and fluffy inside.

You can definitely see I’m in good mood even though it’s freaking cold and I was definitely under dressed…more photos soon !
All emails will be replied when I get back, can’t wait to shoot in Taiwan already !

Here’s another wedding from December last year that I hadn’t blog about. My most memorable moments of this wedding was some of the *gate crashing* games, watching all the groomsmen getting tortured can be rather addictive sometimes. Leonard and Shirley were also very lucky to be surrounded by such a great group of friends that came from all over the world (literally). A beautiful wedding with lots of laughters, happy wedding to the beautiful couple !
P.S Don’t forget the album link at the end, too.

March

I’ve been meaning to blog about Chei Soon & Chao Bing’s wedding for a long time, just didn’t know where to start. This wedding is special to me because I’m there with them almost every step of the way leading up to their big day. From the proposal, to engagement, to R.O.M, to pre wed shoot, then finally to the most important day of their lives. Not to mention the countless meetings and preparation throughout the few months. I almost felt like I was getting married again !
- It takes a long time to load due to the slider intros, at first I thought it was my house connection problem but after trying it at different locations, I came to a conclusion that it’s the layout problem.
- It looked a little too ‘tough’. It was too man-ish for my taste. (Can’t blame me, I’m a girl !)
- The design was a little too complicated. With so many colorful images posted on my blog, it was a little messy.
- It takes up too much time even if I just want to make minor changes to the layout.
- No more header/intro images
- No more full post on front page, to read the full version of a blog entry, simply click on ‘read more’ or ‘link to full post’ links.
- Much easier navigations with added widgets at footer and also much simpler menu on top.
There are still quite a few things I am looking forward to improve especially the gallery part. I still can’t figure out how to fully utilize the wordpress gallery. Untill I can afford a web designer, I think I’ll have to settle with this.
I really love how clean and minimalistic this layout looks compare to the previous one, I also love how soft and feminine it looks now. So easy on the eyes. I hope you guys like it too.
More blog posts coming up, stay tune !
